Sony Surprises PS4 and PS5 Users With a Freebie
Sony has pleasantly surprised PS4 and PS5 owners with a special PSN freebie. The year 2023 will be pricey for PlayStation enthusiasts. Despite the fact that it’s just February, games like Dead Space, Hogwarts Legacy, Forspoken, and Dead Space have already been made available.
Some games that will be released from now through the end of the year include:
- Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
- Final Fantasy 16
- Resident Evil 4
- Atomic Heart
- Diablo 4
- Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
- Street Fighter 6
This year also saw the release of PlayStation VR2. It should be clear that PlayStation gamers will have to save their pennies whenever they can. Sony is providing a special 10 discount on any purchase from the PlayStation Store to PS4 and PS5 owners as a result.
Sony has been distributing discount vouchers to random PSN customers since this month. There is only a tiny catch, though. The PS App must be used to redeem the code. This is, therefore, probably Sony’s way of nudging you in its direction if you haven’t downloaded the PS App. The codes appear to be being sent randomly and by email.
You must enable promotional emails from PlayStation to be sent to your PSN account so as to qualify. However, this is not sufficient on its own. And then it’s merely a matter of luck from here. Both the number of codes being distributed and the duration of the promo are unknown.
You can analyze each major game coming out this month if you’re looking for anything to use the coupon on. Although Hogwarts Legacy stands out this month, there are other noteworthy games that are also being released. In addition to the aforementioned Atomic Heart, other February releases include Sons of the Forest, Wild Hearts, and a new Horizon game.
